Default Targeting after death

Here's an idea, I don't know if this has been discussed before..wouldn't know how to search for it.
When you are out with henchmen and you die, you should be able to target which enemy the hench attack. The idiots never work together and seldom save their skins if you are gone, but with a little post-mortem supervision they might save their own asses and yours too.

Not in my experience. You can target all you want, but I have rarely, if ever, seen the henchmen actually follow a newly called target after your death.

Yep, seems the only attack a target after your first auto-attack has landed or if they get attacked themselves.

I dont think the henchman follow targets, i think when you attack something they usually attack the same, but besides that they dont listen - not that i have noticed anyway

I'll have to double check (haven't died in a while ooooooooo)

But, I'm pretty sure that, even in death, they will attack the target you select if they are not aggroed already.

When you're dead, they work just exactly like minions, I think. You might have to repeatedly click a target, if they are searching for aggro.

As a MM, you get used to this behavior after a while.

No, I die alot with henchmen and know them well. They will act as their own team when you die. You cannot direct your henchmen while you are dead.

They will continue to attack the enemy you were targeting at the moment of your death. After that you will have absolutely no control over their actions.

Perhaps what you remember about the aggro is this:

1.) If all but one henchman dies during combat, the remaining henchmen and you will resurrect at a shrine while the surviving henchman continues to fight.

2.)If you die outside of aggro range and your henchmen have used their signets, they will stay there and bore you to death, forcing you to map out.

~edit-spelling and added one line
~2nd edit- my grammar sucked too

Having died plenty with henchmen, as I'm not terribly good using them... I don't think targetting enemies or calling your targetting will get your henchmen to focus fire. It's true, normally when I am alive and switch targets or call a new target, the henchmen will ditch everything they're doing and attack the new target. When I'm dead however, they immediately start choosing targets of their own, much to my frustration as I lie there, dead, furiously hitting Ctrl-space on the target we were attacking before I died. I'm not sure what you mean by "if they are not aggroed already:" do you mean the henchmen have chosen a target, or are being aggroed by enemies? For the former case, I've seen the henchmen switch off of the target we were attacking when I died, and switch targets fairly often. For the latter, I can't say I've had any experience, seeing as usually when I die, the monsters that killed me are busy wailing away at my henchmen too. Perhaps you could test this?
